Organic Hot Sauces

BENITO’S HOT SAUCE (OUR MISSION)

At Benito’s hot sauce we use a recipe that ensures a fresh taste in every drop without the use of any preservatives, pesticides, or fertilizers!

Our chile peppers are grown on a small plot using only sunlight, water, and soil at the intervale in Burlington, VT. We also get organic chile peppers from Lehoullier Farm in Johnson, VT and Gaylord Farm in Waitsfield, VT. During the off season, organic habanero peppers are flown in from the American southwest. All sauces are made with care in small batches.

Our sauce is always made from 100% organic hot peppers in order to capture the essence of fresh tasting perfection!  We also incorporate onions, carrots, and lime juice in order to achieve the perfect balance of flavor. All sauces are a delectable addition to beef, fish, poultry, shrimp, tofu, eggs, and tortilla chips.

Benito’s sauces also serve as wonderful marinades for grilling and roasting. We currently have all of the Sauces in stock. We ship to anywhere within the continental United States. For international orders call (802) 730-6823 to inquire about shipping rates. Click on the link entitled sauces to read descriptions. Also check us out on my space.

All hot sauces are made with all natural and organic ingredients. I don’t use nonsense filler ingredients like xanthum gum, pepper mash, salt, sugar, flour, corn syrup, or any artificial flavors or preservatives. I also make all of my sauces in small batches, we do not use contract packers for the sake of quality control issues.

Ultimately, the purpose of what we do at Benito’s is not about name recognition. I have no desire to become the next tabasco sauce. We are simply about producing a unique product that is always made with fresh organic and all-natural ingredients. I love to hear that people are experimenting with our sauces and learning more about sustainable organic horticulture.

In July of 2008, we relocated to Northern Vermont. We are currently on the hunt for the quintessential Vermont Hot Pepper farm. We will keep everyone updated as the farm takes shape. Stay Well. – Ol’ Benito
