I was, as perhaps you were, too, perplexed by the idea of a chipotle infused maple syrup. It sat in my cupboard, spinning around and around on my lazy susan; in motion, yet gathering dust. The morning came that I first tried it on ham. I am a changed woman.

Just tried this for the first time on steak and it’s INCREDIBLE! Bought it at Kinney Drugs in St. Johnsbury and will be bought regularly from now on wether I have to order it online or not. Huge hit with my husband as well! (It was actually part of his bday present) I also bought one of the hot sauces but have not tried it yet. I can’t wait to order the habanero maple syrup!!

This is our favorite!! Tonight I made autumn harvest chicken. I marinate chicken thighs overnight in the chipotle infused maple sryup, mixed with a splash of apple cider vinegar. Baked at 425 for about 40 mins along with cubed sweet potato, onions, parsnips, Brussels sprouts and a few slices of bacon chopped…..delicious!!

When I first bought it at the farmer’s I thought “what am I going to put this on?” . Is maple syrup?; is it hot sauce? It makes a great glaze for all meats and white meat fishes. A little weird on pancakes, but we put it in icing for a chocolate chili cake and that was good.

The only bad thing I can say is that you need to sell it in a bigger bottle.
