Habanero Infused Maple Syrup

HOT- 2012 WINNER FIERY FOODS CHALLENGE (Irving,TX)- 2013 WINNER SCOVIE AWARDS (Albuquerque, NM)-This is a sensational combination of sweet and heat with a rich maple taste. The syrup is a Pure Vermont Grade A Dark Robust. I chose to use a Dark Robust because it is has the richest maple flavor. This product can be used just like regular maple syrup or as a spicy dessert sauce, with steamed squash or carrots, and also as a glaze for ribs, chops chicken or beef! This is a perfect cooking grade syrup as well….Enjoy.- Ol’ Benito   (5 ounce bottle)

I randomly stumbled upon this hot sauce company at a beer festival. My boyfriend and I love trying all different kinds of hot sauces and we got a few from this brand and though all good we are OBSESSED with the habanero maple syrup. So glad they have it available for purchase online because I can’t go without it!

Good call Brian! I’ve actually been caguht in the conundrum of choosing real maple syrup or non. I learned cracker barrel switched to the sugar syrup a few years ago. That was heart breaking. But I have found some real maple syrup at the grocery before. Pretty good stuff! I’ll probably have an eye on this next time I head to Kroger.

Mmmm sounds good Cindy! : ) I’ll have to try that repice. Thanks! I have a old waffle maker that I got from my mother in law. I make the waffle batter x 3 and make em light, then freeze em up for toasting later. It works out great. Also, ever try adding Hodgson Mill’s Multi Grain cereal mix made with Milled Flaxseed and Soy to your repices? It’s great! There is also have a delicious repice on the back of the box for Fiber Rich Muffins. Gee, I must be hungry! It’s past lunch . God bless you Cindy. Love your music~ Have a great time in Nashville! I’ll be jammin’ tonight here in MA . Donna : )

Maple syrup is a syrup usually made from the xylem sap of sugar maple, red maple, or black maple trees, although it can also be made from other maple species. In cold climates, these trees store starch in their trunks and roots before the winter; the starch is then converted to sugar that rises in the sap in the spring. Maple trees can be tapped by boring holes into their trunks and collecting the exuded sap. The sap is processed by heating to evaporate much of the water, leaving the concentrated syrup.`,*-
